Ophthalmology & Vision Science, College of Medicine – Tucson

The Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science at The University of Arizona serves to provide education, research, and service throughout the Southwest. We educate medical students, residents, fellows and other professionals in the most advanced techniques available for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of eye disease. Our research identifies and investigates new methods to diagnose, treat, rehabilitate and prevent conditions that cause vision impairment and blindness. We also provide patients with consultations, clinical care and surgical care.
