Centennial Hall

The Auditorium, as it was originally named, was built in 1936. A $4 million renovation was completed in 1985 when the building was also renamed Centennial Hall to commemorate the University's Centennial Year. UApresents, the University of Arizona's performing arts presenting series, offers more than 50 performances each year, including Broadway musicals; classical, jazz, Latin and popular music performances; and ballet and modern dance. All events include free Arts Encounters presentations 45 minutes before each performance, and many, including the innovative UApresents Millennium Project, offer extended educational residencies, meet-the-artist opportunities, student workshops, and community outreach activities. Tickets are available at the Centennial Hall Box Office, (520) 621-3341. Children under 18 and all students with ID enjoy half-price admission for most events.
