The University of Arizona South, dedicated to individual student success, provides a quality learner-centered environment for professional and liberal arts education.  The faculty, staff and administration facilitate student learning through teaching that accommodates diverse learning styles and needs of students, disciplined inquiry into relative issues and problems, and a sense of service to the greater community. Students typically transfer from local community colleges and pursue the last two years of one of 14 undergraduate degrees.  Two Masters degrees as well as various certification programs are offered at UA South. The branch campus is committed to providing necessary resources, and supports a community of active learners seeking seamless pathways to success.  Baccalaureate programs are offered through a “Two Plus Two” arrangement.  Students can complete the equivalent of two years of course work at any Arizona community college or any accredited institution, and two years of course work at The University of Arizona South.

UA South operates sites in Sierra Vista, at the Cochise College Douglas campus, at Pima Community College (East and Desert Vista campuses), the UA Science and Technology Park in Tucson, and at UA Santa Cruz in Nogales. UA South students obtain undergraduate and graduate degrees as they gain intellectual and professional capabilities to enhance their personal lives and careers. The campus locations also foster regional economic development and provide expertise for generating solutions to community problems through the education and public service activities of their faculty, staff, and students.
